Billy & Bobby McClain have been dancing for 30 years. Their years of dancing dates back to their pre-teen years with the very first professional streetdance crew from Boston called the FunkAffects directed by Sir David Vaughan. After eight years with the company, they branched out on their own. During that time they have had the honor of winning the Apollo Theater six times, touring with artists like Bobby Brown and Apollonia, and also opening up for artists like Run DmC, LL Cool Jay, Slick Rick, Epmd, Fugees, KRS One, Queen Latifah, Luther Vandross, Patti Labelle, Sheila E and a host of others. Their TV spots include Good Morning America, Evening Magazine, and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. They also choreographed tours for groups such as New Kids on the Block, and worked with New Edition/Mark Wahlberg. Recently they have performed in/at Anthony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker, NYC Dance Delight, E.O.F Elements of Dance, Sybarite, Beantown Breakdown, Fresh Killed Theatre, and Paula Abdul’s show on CBS “Live to Dance.
